Are free events and organiser accounts really 100% free?
Yes! There are no account registration fees, setup charges, monthly subscriptions, or maintenance fees. If your event is free to attend, Ìgbádùn is 100% free forever — including unlimited RSVPs, automated QR pass emails, mobile camera check-in scanning, and CSV guest list exports.
How does the 5% + ₦100 fee work on paid tickets?
For paid ticket sales, Ìgbádùn charges 5% of the ticket price plus ₦100 per ticket sold. For example, on a ₦5,000 ticket, the fee is ₦250 (5%) + ₦100 = ₦350. There are zero upfront fees, and you only pay when someone buys a ticket.
Who pays the 5% + ₦100 fee: the attendee or the organiser?
You have complete flexibility. You can choose "Pass fee to attendee" so the 5% + ₦100 fee is added at checkout, meaning the buyer covers it and you keep 100% of your advertised face value. Alternatively, you can choose "I will absorb the fee" to keep ticket prices round (e.g. ₦5,000 flat), and the fee is netted from your bank payout.
Do you offer custom pricing or on-site check-in staffing for private events?
Yes! How and when do I receive payouts for ticket sales?
Payouts are settled directly to your connected Nigerian bank account via our payment partner, Paystack. During onboarding, we help connect your bank account and agree on your settlement timetable.
What payment methods can my attendees use to buy tickets?
Attendees can pay using any method supported by Paystack — Nigerian debit/credit cards, direct bank transfer, USSD code, or mobile bank apps. They are never restricted to card payments only.
Can I sell tickets in-person at the door or gate?
Yes! Ìgbádùn includes a Door Station and printable Gate Poster Kit with custom QR codes. Walk-in guests can scan the poster on their phone to buy tickets instantly, or your door staff can register cash/transfer walk-ins directly from the check-in interface.
